The Justice Center
The Justice Center encompasses a city block in downtown Cleveland bounded by Lakeside Avenue, West 3rd Street, Ontario Street and St. Clair Avenue. The Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court General Division is located in the 24-story Courts Tower at the corner of Lakeside Avenue and Ontario Street.
Access
There are three public entrances to the justice Center which all require security screening: The main entrance is off of Lakeside Avenue. The secondary entrance is off of Ontario Street. (This usually has a shorter line, but that depends on the time of day and demand.) The third entrance is from the Huntington Garage through a walkway that goes under Lakeside Avenue.
Parking
Parking close to the Justice Center is limited. While parking is available within a few blocks, the prices can be steep. Here are some options to consider:
The Huntington Parking Garage (Behind the Old Court House):
There is a large parking lot off of West 3rd Street and Summit Street labelled "Warehouse District Parking" just north of Lakeside Avenue. The entrance is under the Shoreway. You will need to walk a few blocks, but the cost is relatively low. The only entrance and exit from the garage is from West 3rd Street.
Public Parking
There is a large parking lot off of West 3rd and Summit labelled "Warehouse District Parking" just north of Lakeside Ave. The entrance is under the Shoreway. You will need to walk a few blocks, but the cost is relatively low.
RTA:
You may want to consider riding the bus or using the rapid trains. The trains disembark a few blocks away at Tower City. A number of bus routes stop right outside the Justice Center. For RTA route information, click here for www.riderta.com.
Trolleys:
RTA provides free trolley service around downtown Cleveland. You can park farther form the Justice Center, and then use the free service. For a map of the trolley stops, click here.
COVID-19 Restrictions
