To honor the late Cleveland Housing Court Judge Ray Pianka, his name will be put on a Cleveland street sign this summer.
City Council approved a "Judge Raymond L. Pianka Way" street sign on West Clinton Avenue, where Pianka grew up.
Pianka died in 2017. He was first elected to Cleveland Housing Court in 1995 and was re-elected in 2007.
Before serving as housing court judge, Pianka was on Cleveland City Council for 10 years in Ward 17.
